SEASONAL RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Purpose

These terms govern the seasonal rental of the accommodations located in French Guiana (hereinafter "the Apartment") within Hostel Toucan (hereinafter "the Hostel").

2. Reservation

The reservation of the Apartment is confirmed upon receipt of the full rental amount.

3. Duration of Stay

The minimum rental period is 1 night.

Extended stays must be agreed upon in advance and may lead to a revision of rates.

4. Cancellation

In case of cancellation by the tenant, the payment is non-refundable.

Cancellations made more than 15 days before the arrival date will result in a refund of 80% of the reservation.

Cancellations made less than 15 days before the arrival date will not be refunded.

5. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out must be completed by 12:00.

Additional fees may apply for check-ins or check-outs outside normal hours, subject to availability.

6. Security Deposit

A security deposit of €100 to €1500 is required upon arrival to cover potential damages or extra costs.

The security deposit will be refunded within 10 days after departure, subject to the satisfactory condition of the Apartment.

7. Use of the Apartment

The Apartment is intended for residential use only.

Smoking inside the Apartment is prohibited.

Pets are not allowed without prior agreement.

8. Responsibilities

The tenant is responsible for any loss or damage caused to the Apartment or its facilities.

The Hostel will not be liable for personal losses or damages, theft, or accidents occurring during the stay.

9. Behavior

No noisy or disruptive behavior will be tolerated. Complaints from other guests may result in immediate termination of the rental without refund.

The apartments at Hostel Toucan must be respected and left in good condition.

10. Modifications

The Hostel reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, with the new terms taking effect upon publication.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws in force in Cayenne/French Guiana. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Cayenne.
